The Digital Youth Festival Africa (DYF-A) is a ground-breaking initiative spearheaded by Africa Beyond 4IR (AB4IR), meticulously designed to serve as an impactful platform. Its primary objective is to provide comprehensive exposure to the digital realm, unraveling its advantages and challenges for the youth of Africa. This visionary endeavor is specifically tailored to address the needs of the youth residing in disadvantaged areas, where access to resources and exposure to the digital economy is limited. By extending a helping hand to this underserved demographic, the festival aspires to bridge the digital divide, empower and uplift young individuals, opening doors to opportunities that might remain elusive.
The Indigenous Knowledge & Tech Forum is an initiative that seeks to blend Indigenous Knowledge Systems and Artificial Intelligence. The event focuses on exploring how Artificial Intelligence can be enriched by the profound cultural wisdom of indigenous communities to address key challenges in various industries, particularly in environmental sustainability, agriculture, and data preservation. This event is an important platform for bringing together two distinct forms of intelligence, the artificial and indigenous to collaboratively solve pressing global issues.
